Always review the care label inside your garment before cleaning, as instructions may vary depending on the fabric and construction.

SHIRTS

Washing

Dry cleaning is recommended to best preserve the fabric, fit, and finishing details of your Masutto shirt.

When machine washing is permitted:

• Wash separately or with similar colours.

• Turn the shirt inside out before washing.

• Use cold water and a gentle cycle.

• Choose a mild detergent.

• Do not use bleach or harsh stain-removing products.

• Avoid overcrowding the washing machine.

For delicate, satin-finish, printed, or highly detailed shirts, professional dry cleaning is the preferred option.

Drying

Do not tumble dry.

After washing, gently reshape the shirt and hang it to dry naturally on a wide, supportive hanger. Keep it away from direct sunlight and high heat, which may affect the colour or cause the fabric to shrink.

Avoid twisting or wringing the garment.

Ironing and Steaming

Iron or steam using low to medium heat, depending on the garment’s care label.

For the best results:

• Iron the shirt while it is slightly damp.

• Turn printed or satin-finish shirts inside out.

• Use a clean pressing cloth between the iron and delicate fabric.

• Avoid applying direct heat to buttons, trims, embroidery, or decorative details.

• Steam from a short distance to refresh the garment between wears.

Stain Care

Treat stains as soon as possible.

Gently blot the affected area with a clean cloth. Do not rub, as this may spread the stain or damage the fabric. Avoid applying strong chemicals directly to the garment. For stubborn, oil-based, or delicate-fabric stains, consult a professional dry cleaner.

Storage

Make sure your shirt is completely clean and dry before storing it.

Hang shirts on wide, structured hangers to help maintain the shoulders and overall shape. Fasten the top one or two buttons, leave space between garments, and store them in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight.

For long-term storage, use a breathable garment bag rather than plastic.

SWIM SHORTS

Rinse swim shorts in fresh, cool water immediately after swimming to remove chlorine, salt, sunscreen, and sand.

• Wash in cold water using a mild detergent.

• Wash with similar colours.

• Do not bleach.

• Do not use fabric softener.

• Do not tumble dry.

• Do not wring or twist.

• Reshape and lay flat or hang to dry in the shade.

• Do not iron unless the garment’s care label specifically permits it.

Avoid leaving wet swimwear folded inside a bag for an extended period. Allow it to dry completely before storing.

EVERYDAY GARMENT CARE

You do not need to wash a garment after every wear. Light steaming and airing it out between uses can help keep it fresh while reducing unnecessary washing.

Keep fragrances, deodorants, lotions, and hair products from making direct contact with delicate fabric whenever possible. Allow these products to dry before getting dressed.
